oh reaaallly?

so my second daughter comes home from school today and says

 ‘hey mum we got to make the robot pick up the pizza!’

 ‘I am impressed’ I tell my lovely daughter,’ is it like a remote control toy robot thing?’

‘no mum ‘ she looks annoyed at me , (I can see her thinking : poor old mum not understanding todays technology); ‘we go on the computer and write in the program the orders that have to be sent to the robot ,’ second daughter patiently explains,

‘and  then it does it ?’ i enquire hopefully,

‘ oh muuuuum of course not! then we work out all the parameters; the length to the pizza, the distance the mmkkkm*m%vvffblahblahblah (there were definitely real words when she said this but i had glazed over by this time so all i remember is blah blah blah)

 ‘ok so it took like half an hour of serious brain time with calculations and computers and everything to pick up a bit of pizza that was 2 feet away? forgive me for saying but couldn’t you just have gone over and picked it up yourself?’ i hesitantly offer this small piece of logic;

second daughter walked away disgusted at my lack of joining  in the modern age

    Hey KizzyLee, thank you heaps for coming by, for having a feel for my story. I have to say, I can’t relate to having daughters – but my father had four! Poooor dad… not! Your daughter sounds lovely 🙂

    1. hi, i love having my daughters they are such great friends to have but also i am lucky to have a son as well when he was born i remember looking at him and saying the last piece of the jigsaw was here, 🙂 it truely felt like i had all the parts i needed to feel complete and happy in my life and he fitted into place so perfectly and of course it was fun to be able to go and buy boys toys etc 🙂 either way you look at it for me having kids was the most excellent thing to ever happen,
