the best guitarist ever

cool 🙂 look how clever I am getting i managed to insert a music thingy 🙂

frank is my fave ever guitarist like of all time

and I must point out that I do mean guitarist! I accept that some of the lyrics are a bit unsavoury and indeed make even myself cringe! not something  one would play when the in- laws pop round

 but

if we take away the lyrics this man was a genius and I loved him

( I do feel sorry for his children though he had a terrible taste in names for his children I imagine moon unit 2 probably changed hers when she could I may be wrong though maybe she loved it maybe she got called moonie at school and thought it was cool I don’t know but I would have had a right go at him if he had been my dad 🙂 )

  1. Hee! Okay, I have read all of your posts so far and you make me giggle.

You’ve managed to talk about Douglas Adams, Tolkien and Frank Zappa already, which means I’m clicking the follow button.

    🙂

    1. aww thats brilliant i love to meet like minded people, i do feel quite alone in the world sometimes ^_^ (the joys of living in small quite conservative town in england oh its great the lengthy conversations i have 🙂 )i am very lucky that my teenager has grown up to be my best friend and someone i can have a giggle with 🙂
i just read your silmarillion post; damn good stuff! you have my fuill respect! i loved the whole tolkien thing but i confess many years ago i ran out and aquired silmarillion only to collapse after first page, the tears rimmed my eyes as i realised here was a tolkien book destined to gather dust on my book shelf along with the critique of pure reason by Kant- again another treasure i saved up for and excitedly ordered to feeling my eyes become crossed forever as i tried to read it i still have independent eyes, even now they look in random directions and often refuse to focus! :)ahh well ce la vie 🙂 thank you for being a friend and i hope you hve a fab day xx

      1. Heh, I know. I tried and tried to read the Silmarillion when I was young, but I think I had close to a dozen false starts before I actually made my way through it in my 20s. I’ve now read it a handful of times (nowhere near as many times as I’ve read LotR, though), and thought it might be a good idea to attempt to sum up for the Tolkien newbs we have joining in the group read this time. There’s a lot of stuff in there that helps make sense of the things that happen later on in the series.
