its a jolly good (though grey) day

I love days where I gets a good feeling right at the start of the day 🙂 I met a new friend today -this could be a whole discussion; for example are virtual friends the same as those you see day to day? see me I consider anyone I communicate well with irregardless of being virtual or not as my friend

I spent many years in second life, gained myself a few different personalities, had a lot of fun, and I considered every friend I met there a real friend, and here in this new sparkly world of blogging I have just discovered, I meet a new friend- the lovely sj -whom I have a good feeling about and already its like we is family! and that’s the way I see it!  I guess others don’t feel this way but I do 🙂

anyways sj has a super cool blog and I don’t know if I am doing this right because as you I am not techno savvy

but here goes that’s the url I think, hopefully you click that and you get a super fab person who has a real good take on some super books, I adore reading and can’t sleep without a good bo0k-in fact last night I managed to annoy everyone in my house because I couldn’t go to bed til I found a book to read, eventually, and I do mean eventually, I found a book on Nostradamus and I could go to bed 🙂

how smug does old Nostradamus look in this picture? ok he reckoned he knew the future but no need to look at us like that! there now follows a nosrtadamus joke i have just nicked from somewhere on the net 🙂 ;-
I hate traveling back in  time to tell Nostradamus jokes because he always says, “I know where this is going” before I deliver the punchline.

and I will only link to one blog like every 8 months or something because I will only do it when i feel like it 🙂

ok so grey is the colour of  today but hey come on who expected different 🙂 it may even have a bit of drizzle later, not enough to call rain but we don’t want to commit ourselves now do we, the actual day before I met my lovely new friend was in fact quite a rush and that’s why I am late in my blogging today; alarm didn’t go off, which meant I did my headless chicken act in throwing together lunch boxes and dressing kids; I do hope I put the food in the box and the clothes on the kids or they going to have a fun day!,

then my son refused to get out of bed; the joys of autism ment he couldn’t show his face above the bed covers this morning because yesterday a boy at school called him names, and he couldn’t cope with the world til this boy was removed -from the world- I spent  some time letting him just relax and then I dressed him, I explained that even at mummy’s age people call names and we can’t kill them all, much as we want to, I told him I would write to his teacher and that seemed to do the trick , plus he loves  our new pup, so frodo cuddled him, by the time the bus was here I felt like supermum and my son felt like going to school so job done 🙂

I did try to get on here but I am so easily distracted! it took a while, I swear people like me shouldnt be allowed on the internet because before I know it many distractions later the day has gone and I got nothing done, I do however have a head full of useless information!

I still didn’t get paid by the lady on eBay ho-hum, but I wrote a lovely message in the hope that if I was lovely she might feel bad and pay me 🙂 plus I found some really cool old photos from a nearly local museum which had discovered this

they are mug shots of children, yes children, from Victorian times, who were given prison sentences from terrible crimes like stealing a waistcoat, I am a big history person, I am like addicted or something -hey I don’t drink or smoke so let me have something :)- and I love stuff like this

ok the work men came and oh my god a book could be written, but I think a bloke I know already has a blog on home improvement stuff, so I shall just say; if you can avoid having anyone – especially the damn council –  come into your home on the vague grounds of improving it then avoid it, but I got to the point where it had to be done, I have since aged  so much i now need to dye my hair because this is too much grey for anyone! I don’t want to match the weather now do I 🙂

have a super fab day everyone i am off to sew 🙂
