ermm what was i going to say?

ok i feel like i fully ensconced with the lovely world of blogging and i find it full of gorgeous people who don’t mind my often strange use of words and my lack of organisation which means i cant always keep up with what i have written ,

i swear sometimes i will be like watching tv or something and i remember a reply i wrote to some post and i have gotten lost in the myriad of blog posts and forgotten to go see what reply i got, now i know  i have found the place where it says what comments i did, but as today proves this is not enough 🙂

today i got up early as i always do and sat here bleary eyed opening my nemails no, i havent spelled that wrong i always call them nemails because its makes the kids laugh they ask’ mam whats could you have in nemails to which i reply knees of course’ yes i know you had to be there 🙂 i am full of ‘dad’ jokes on a morning, i am really annoying on a morning i always wake up happy and positive and that’s quite irritating on a morning 🙂

so i spent like ages reading through all my messages i have never had so many! thank you to everyone who messaged i appreciate them, but i have this thing, a strange little quirk of mine, i wont skim, i really mean it i don’t like skimming , if someone writes to me or i read a blog post i read it all properly, taking in each word and sometimes worse than that i will sit and digest it all even more later,

so it takes me some time to go through all messages, plus i like to think of each person i meet on here as a new friend, and i reply to each individually and aptly, i wont just rattle off thanks  i will take the time to imagine each one is an individual conversation and i reply as if i was sat with them and what i would say if i ever give a short answer i apologise and explain i am usually trying to do something that involves children or dogs 🙂 of course  after that it takes me another ten minutes to correct all i have written, i suffer badly from dyslexia, and it usually means my writing is gobbeldy gook til i have patiently gone through it and made it into english 🙂

of course this morning it all took so long that by the time it came to writing this post i had gone so far off track i had no idea of what i wanted to write about 🙂 so have an excellent day everyone and later i am sure it will all come flooding back to me unless the ms kicks in and then i shall be left just scratching my head and giving it another go tomorrow 🙂

tune for the day :

  1. My son has dyslexia, so I understand that.
And blogging takes tremendous amounts of time, doesn’t it? (I’m even forced to skim every now and then, but don’t tell anyone)
    Your post was delightful 🙂

    1. hiya maggie thank you for your lovely comment and i love my dyslexia in a way because oh my the stuff i read, then i read it again and its no where near as good as i first thought, my fave incident is from years ago and my friend came round to visit in a gorgeous denim jacket which had these pretty little buttons on that said ,’love’ on each one, ‘aww thats so gorgeous’ i said obviously she said ‘what?’ i explained the love buttons were so cute and she frowns at me and says ‘read them again slowly and remember your dyslexia’ so i did and realised they said lois ! pffft i thought it was so much better when they said 🙂 have a fab day xx

  2. I read somewhere that we should vote for making each day48 hours in length. The good news – we’d have more time to read all the amazing and insightful posts and comments from other bloggers. The bad news is we’d have more time to run around in circles trying to organize our “too full of things to do” day. Great post! Loved the cartoon too. 🙂

    1. hiya pen and great idea except for one small problem you know when you get more storage in the home like new drawers or wardrobe then within moments its full? so it would be the same when getting 48 hours all too soon i would have them filled and need more 🙂 i am happy though and i guess it always means i still have things left i want to do each day which means tomorrows plans are always alredy laid 🙂 sometimes though i confess i take ‘a day off’ when i refuse to do anything i wont even sew! today has been one of them days off, the kids and i baked cupackes and watched a film marathon of ice age and madagascar all versions of each one, 🙂 we have so far ice age 1 and 2 and madagascar 1 and 2 i think i lost count 🙂 so now with square eyes and a rested mind i shall bid you a lovely evening as i plan to do tomorrow all the things i didnt do today 🙂 xx

      1. Thanks, kizzylee, way to go on the “day off” attitude. Relaxing and spending time with family – the best!
