i has been messing about :)

its been a while and i then i felt the twinge of creativity sneak up on me , those of you who have read earlier posts may have remembered i have been active in second life where i make and sell virtual clothes and other items i havent made anything in a while for a lot of reasons but the stuff i did make still sells and thats great, but what i have to thank for second life was in learning how to make the stuff i made meant a great deal of hard work on the computer developing an intimate relationship with my psp9 programme, its an art programme that i adore, and no i wont cross to the dark side that is photoshop i am psp9 as i live and breathe :)so for the last half hour or so i have made myself a background picture for on here 🙂 me first little bloggy picture 🙂 for those of you who either know second life or were just interested in the small bit of machinima i made a few years back here it is 🙂

took a ridiculous amount of work and about three days full of concentration to put these little videos togther i had more but i lost them and a whole heap of work when my computer crashed down with a nasty virus and had to be wiped 😦

the animations i had to make each separately and then add the machinima animations and music altogether it was bloody hard work! i am the one with many coloured hair starring with name keleesha  the name blushbaby is the name i use when making arty stuff i have used it a number of years i even think of myself as blushbaby and if you said that name out loud i would answer 🙂

so the rest of the day was spent having a day off from the world making cupcakes with the kids and watching many films 🙂 the worst realisation i hd today was; all day i had worn my pretty new top, it went so well with my skirt and whats even better was that it was a bargain, from charity and only £1 ! how cool is that, but……………after wearing it all day and feeling good i catch a quick look of myself in mirror as i go by and see with absolute dismay the some how the design of the top has made me look like i have boobs down to my knees ! arrrggghh

      2. thank you for your lovely and kind comments 🙂 i has gotten a bit embarrassed now all these lovely comments have a super evening 🙂

  2. Kizzy, you are amazing. Or…should I say…Blushbaby, you are amazing. Wow. How did you get into creating this way? It’s utterly fantastic but looks like TONS of work!

    1. thank you my lovely rhonda 🙂 i do find it relaxing playing with arty stuff i was very lucky back about six years ago i think it was now i was very new to computing we could never afford one, then one day in extraordinary turn of events which is a story in itself that requires a fireside and a long evening 🙂 we were given an old computer for free, i joined a little yahoo group that made ‘tags’ and i loved it but couldn’t make anything but one day out of the blue an absolutely wonderful lady from america actually sent me through the post a copy of psp 7, i think it was back then, i still think it was an amazing thing to do! i remember receiving it through the post and how touched i was by such a thought and gesture from someone who didn’t know me in actual life only through emails in this group i was in at that time, now i still keep that copy, just because it was so nice, but through the years the group went, i don’t know where because we lost internet for 2 years, we couldn’t afford it, when i came back ,all gone, the group, the kind lady, everything, but i was lucky enough to afford a cheap computer, i still had the disc and i would mess about, just playing though, until i entered second life that gave me the incentive to really get to grips with the programme and of course i updated and i would still like the latest psp but its expensive 😦 the one i have now though is great and is full of endless possibilities i play with everything from photos to making virtual projects, clothes, and animations, and i love it all 🙂 have an excellent day xx

      1. That is a wonderful story Kizzy. It’s heart warming to know there are still people like the ‘woman’ in the world. And the fact that there are still endless possibilities is exciting…what an awesome creative outlet. And thanks for sharing these…was blown away.
