very important please read and if you can read the original article as well Beauty, Blog Tweaks

This post has been marinating in my phone’s Drafts section for a day or two now. So while it’s still morning, I thought to crack on this (before little one wakes up) — and as they say, “the early bird catches the worm.” Time difference in consideration, I know that for some, it might not be too early anymore. But I hope I would still catch you with this post.

I wouldn’t have known about this topic if it weren’t for Brittany at, who shared ‘Bloggers Beware’ post on her blog and linked up a story with it. So thank you, for spreading this to your blogger brethren.  After reading the story, I’ve just been itching to share this with you. Plus, I really like a good chitchat with you guys on this matter, because the paranoia vibe is all over me right now.

  1. Thank you, Kiz!! I’m going to get rid of my images now since I have no clue where they came from and the one image I did use and credit, I’m still afraid, because of what was stated in the blog, that I might be sued!!

What a shame!! No harm was meant on my part and if they’re accessible on the web and no one has printed a copyright label across them, especially when they’re shown as “public domain” there should be no fear of legal action!!

    1. i know its kinda ruining blogging 😦 i agree credit where credit is due, but for someone like me, half of what i do is sharing what i find, so now i am worried and dont feel like blogging so much, there should be more give and take and basically if you give credit, or like i do place the url of the website, then it should be ok, i am all for saying the original creator and giving credit, i have often got upset at the thought of having anything i create stolen but as long as someone said it was my idea or my creation i would be happy, but this is too restricting and i know it will kill the likes of tumbler and facebook such a lot of the internet is based on sharing and thats how it should be, just give credit thats all,
i do hope you have a peaceful evening i am off to sew some more
      sweet dreams and peaceful sleep

  2. Hmmm copyright huh? A subject dear to my heart. In fact some of my blogging friends have offered to take my images, improve them and sent them back to me, just out of friendship. I never know whether to credit them for their efforts or worry if I am embarrassing them.

But me, I do take it seriously, I have a fairly clear T&Cs page that says don’t take without asking (and even then I might say no). It’s an important issue for a lot of us. Whether or not something has copyright doesn’t mean you can use it.

    Good post.

    1. hiya thank you for commenting, i appreciate all comments, plus its nice to meet you 🙂 i have thought a lot , and i mean a real lot, about this whole subject and its very important to me too, but i see the need for some way of people having images they can use without fear of copyright and for my part i have come up with an idea which i shall discuss in my next post i hope it works it is a postive idea but we shall see 🙂 i hope you have a wonderful day thank you for being my friend 🙂 xx
