gorgeous at night time too

ok i apologise for bad picture quality, my poor camera is on its last legs; it is nearly 8 years old now and it just can’t cope with taking pictures any more. I really should get a new one but I just can’t afford one right now – I can’t afford my glasses either which means to me this picture actually looks ok because that’s pretty much what I see is a hazy flurry of colours ^_^ anyway just had to share these gorgeous views from our tent and if anyone is camping out near Barnard castle i recommend this place; gallows hill, an unfortunate name but very good (cheap prices) all you get is a field but if you pay a few quid more you get a campfire and we were very happy, toasting marshmallows, watching the sun go down, the kids loved it and did not want to leave, so who says they need entertainment 24/7^_^ I make them listen to the sounds the birds make and the wildlife,  I show them where the rabbits have dug up the field and we chat to the sheep and goats, and even if all the animals are busy away off in other fields then we sit round the campfire and sometimes I tell them stories, sometimes I let them tell me stories, all in all the time whooshes by and everyone has had a wonderful time, so much we are going back next week ^_^ next week though I am really hoping we get to stay in a yurt I think it would be a good experience for the kids plus I want to most of all just because they look super ^_^

have a wonderful day everyone and be nice to each other  and especially nice to yourself, and if you got kids or even if you haven’t go camping its brilliant ^-^ xx

    1. thank you my lovely and we are definitely enjoying every minute of these holidays its been a while and we deserve it as a family thank you my friend i hope you have had a lovely weekend xx

  2. When the kids were at home camping was our favourite holiday. Camping in the Rockies we did get woken up by bears, and Elk grazing next to the tent. The park staff showed pictures of bears and then reminded us of the thickness of the canvas or nylon of the tent. Very funny. Nothing like waking up, starting the colman stove and warming yourself while the tea kettle boiled. The smell of waking in a pine forrest is just amazing.
    Nice post.

    1. wow that sounds amazing we only have the wildlife england has to offer which is nowhere near as glamorous as bears and elk but it keeps us entertained, one day i would love to visit places that you have been lucky enough to see, until then i remain jealous ^_^ i remember once many years ago someone who knew about such things as native american horoscopes and they informed me i was an elk which i loved, such fabulous creatures, i would be struck dumb to see one for real, thank you for sharing and for taking the time to chat i always appreciate a friendly voice i hope you have had a wonderful weekend xx
