Once there was a beautiful young girl who lived in a small town just south of Farmersburg. Her parents had to go to town for a while, so they left their daughter home alone, but protected by her dog, which was a very large collie. The parents told the girl to lock all the windows and doors after they had left and she obeyed her parent’s wishes, but there was one window in the basement that would not close completely.

She tried as best as she could and she finally got the window shut, but it would not lock. She went back upstairs, but just to make sure that no one could get in, she put the dead-bolt lock on the basement door.

She had some dinner, watched a show on TV and decided to go to sleep for the night at about 12:00am. She crawled into her bed, snuggled up with the dog and fell asleep.

At one point, she suddenly woke up and when she turned to look at the clock it was 2:30am. She listened for a moment and when she didn’t hear anything, she snuggled down again wondering what had woken her. Just as she was about to fall back to sleep, she heard a noise. It was a dripping sound. She thought that maybe she hadn’t closed the faucet tight enough after she brushed her teeth, and now it was dripping into the drain of her sink. She decided to ignore the sound and to go back to sleep.

She didn’t know why, but she felt uneasy and a little nervous. She reached her hand over the edge of her bed, and let the dog lick her hand to feel safe knowing he would protect her. Again at about 3:45am she woke up hearing dripping. She was annoyed, but still felt sleepy and lazy and she went back to sleep anyway. Again she reached down and let the dog lick her hand. Then she fell back to sleep.

At 6:52am the girl decided that she had had enough…she got up just as her parents were pulling up to the house. “Good,” she thought. “Now somebody can fix the sink…’cause I know I didn’t leave it running.” She walked to the bathroom and there was the collie dog, skinned and hung up on the curtain rod. The noise she heard was its blood dripping into a puddle on the floor. The girl screamed and ran to her bedroom to get a weapon, in case someone was still in the house…..and there on the floor, next to her bed she saw a small note, written in blood, saying: HUMANS CAN LICK TOO MY BEAUTIFUL.

A man and his wife went out for the night with some friends who picked them up at their house. They left their new Mercedes Benz parked outside. When they came home they realized that their new car had disappeared.

They called the police to report the theft and searched fruitlessly for the rest of the night. Devastated by their loss, they went home and went to sleep.

The next morning, they woke up to see their car parked outside their home, just the way they left it the night before. A note was on the windshield explaining that a man and his wife needed it so they could drive to the local hospital. The grateful and influential man left tickets for the couple to go to a movie premier in the city the next night.

The couple was thrilled to have their car back and excited to go to the premier. They dressed up and attend the movie the next night. When they got home from the event they found that their home had been robbed and all of their belongings were gone. All they had left was the car they thought they lost the night before. The shocked couple searched the house and found a note saying: HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE MOVIE!

One cold winter night, sixteen year old Katie was home alone. Her parents had gone out to a dinner party. It had been snowing all that afternoon, but had just recently stopped. After studying for a few hours she decided to relax a little. She made some popcorn, got a nice thick blanket and laid back on the couch to watch some TV in the living room. The television was positioned in front of one side of the glass sliding door that lead to a patio and the back yard. By midnight Katie’s parents still hadn’t come home and she was gripped with fear because from the corner of her eye she could have sworn she caught a glimpse of a very strange looking man staring at her standing outside the glass door behind the television. Terrified, she panicked, pulled blanket up over her head and grabbed the cordless phone that was by her side.

Katie called the police and, as luck would have it, there was a patrol car not far from her house. In a few minutes police are on the scene and Katie told them about the strange man who was standing outside, staring in through the glass.

The police opened the glass sliding door and looked around. After a few moments they turned around and explained to her that there could not have been anyone standing out there, as there would be footprints in the snow. The cops tell her that she is probably just tired and her imagination had got the better of her. Katie began to feel relieved, but still a little shaken. As the police officers are about to leave, one of them stopped and looked behind the couch Katie was sitting on. His jaw dropped and skin went pale. Katie noticed the man’s reaction and jumped up to look too. She saw what made the officer react that way. There were wet footprints on the carpet behind the couch. She hadn’t seen the man outside the door, she’d seen his reflection when he was standing behind her.

The crime begins when a business traveler goes to a lounge for a drink at the end of the work day. A person in the bar walks up as they sit alone and offers to buy them a drink. The last thing the traveler remembers until they wake up in a hotel room bath tub, their body submerged to their neck in ice, is sipping that drink. There is a note taped to the wall instructing them not to move and to call 911. A phone is on a small table next to the bathtub for them to call.

The business traveler calls 911 who have become quite familiar with this crime.

The business traveler is instructed by the 911 operator to very slowly and carefully reach behind them and feel if there is a tube protruding from their lower back. The business traveler finds the tube and answers, “Yes.” The 911 operator tells them to remain still, having already sent paramedics to help.

The operator knows that both of the business traveler’s kidneys have been harvested.

A long time ago there was a little girl named Mary. She grew very ill and fell into a deep coma. The local doctor was old and feeble and without knowing any better, he believed she was dead. He informed the family and they had a funeral and laid the girl to rest. No one realized that they had buried the poor girl alive!

Mary’s family lived very close to the graveyard where she was laid to rest. The first night, Mary’s mother thought that she heard a scream coming from Mary’s grave, but no one believed her.

Days later, Mary’s mother convinced the family to dig up her grave. When they did, they found Mary dead, but they also saw scratches on the top of the coffin and Mary’s fingernails were bloody from her efforts to escape the grave.

Now if you follow these instructions, you may be able to see Mary for yourself. At midnight on Friday the 13th, turn off all the lights in your house. Go to the bathroom and turn on the water in the shower and the sink. Flush the toilet, look into the mirror and say “Bloody Mary” 5 times. She will appear in mirror. You need to hurry and turn on the light or she will stab you in the back

A woman returned from work and found her large dog, a Doberman, lying on the floor gasping for air. Concerned over the animal’s welfare, she immediately loaded the pet into her car and drove him to a veterinarian.

The vet examined the dog but finding no reason for his breathing difficulties, announced that he’d have to perform a tracheotomy and insert tubes down the animal’s throat so he could breathe. He explained that it wasn’t anything she’d want to watch and urged the woman to go home and leave the Doberman there overnight.

When the woman returned home, the phone was ringing off the hook. She answered it, and was surprised to discover it was the vet. Even more surprising was his message — “Get out of the house immediately! Go to the neighbor’s and call the police!”

It seems that when the vet performed the operation, he found a very grisly reason for the dog’s breathing difficulty — three human fingers were lodged in its throat. Concerned that the person belonging to the dismembered fingers might still be in the house, he phoned to warn the woman.

According to the story, police arrived at her house and found an unconscious intruder, sans fingers, lying in a closet.

When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror (i.e., they can see you, but you can’t see them)?

There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms. It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by just looking at it. So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at? Just conduct this simple test:

Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror. However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, FOR IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR! So remember, every time you see a mirror, do the “fingernail test.” It doesn’t cost you anything. It is simple to do, and it might save you from getting “visually raped”!

A man who was always fond of horse racing owned a few horses himself. One of his horses was quite old, but the man decided to race it one last time.

The man tried to lead the horse into the mini trailer attached to his truck but the horse wouldn’t go in. Finally, after he forced the horse in, he began to drive to the track, a few miles from where he boarded the horse.

The horse was constantly making noise and wouldn’t be quiet. The man thought it was just he horse being stubborn. The man then noticed that people were honking their car horns at him as they drove by but he ignored the other motorists and kept driving. He knew the horse was upset and wanted to get him out of the trailer as soon as possible.

When he reached the place the racetrack and opened the trailer, he was shocked by what he found. His old horse was dead and the trailer was soaked with blood. The horse’s legs had fallen through the rotted floor and were ground to stubs.

The truck driver’s wife works in Boston on the docks where this little white dog comes around at noon and everyone feeds it a little something from their lunch. The wife went home and asked her husband if he would mind if she got a dog. She told him about the stray that everyone has been feeding. He said that he didn’t think she wanted a dog. She said it would be nice company since he was away from home a lot, so he agreed.

The next time she went to work, she saw the little stray as usual. Everyone gave him something to eat and she coaxed the dog into her car and brought him home. She washed, cleaned and bathed him, and the dog slept with her in their bed that night and the next.

The next day she came home from work and found the dog had eaten her beloved cat! Horrified, she was confronted with the gruesome sight of a large spot of blood on the floor and all that remained was her cat’s skull sitting nearby.

The panicked woman called the veterinarian who told her to bring the dog right in. He could not do anything for the cat, but the bones from the cat could do injury to the dog.

She brought the dog in to see the vet and was in the waiting room when one of the vet techs nervously asked her to step into one of the rooms immediately! When she got in the room the vet asked her where she got the dog and she told her it was a stray she found where she works near the docks in Boston.

The vet told her the animal needed to be put down immediately. The stray she had taken in was not a dog, but a 40-pound Cambodian rat that came in from one of the ships in the harbor. The rat was so big that it looked liked a small dog with a little snub tail.
